We must trade up and substitute New Testament awe for Old Testament fear! The man with no awe is spiritually inert. He lacks the spiritual powers of focus, fervency and faith. As a result, he is helpless, hopeless and hapless. But, awe brings kinetic alignment to our perceptions. Awe activates faith. Awe catalyzes Gods omni-presence into manifest-presence. Awe animates butterflies of excitement in our belly for God. Awe stimulates prayer, worship and praise. Awe circulates the palpable presence of God throughout our senses and circumstances. The awe of the Lord is both the beginning of wisdom and a tree of life. And it is only a dynamic heart impulse away, eagerly waiting to be recognized and realized. Own your awe, and then Gods love will wonderfully own you!
