We must understand that the 1st-6 years when Tun M took over the throne he was 1 of the very open and liberal leader. But it takes him 6 years later to feel that Malaysian is not ready for a true liberalism and he learn , adapt and changes his style after that. Pak Lah trying again to be open in year 2004 and because of his liberalism an openness had causes his own downfall in year 2012. Pak Lah releases a cunning Fox that he thinks this fox will be thankful to him but end up became his greatest nightmare. Tun M already saw this 6 years ago before the release of the fox in year 2004. 2009 Najib is also trying to be a transformational and open leader ( much more open than any leader ever in Malaysia ). He thought Malaysia will thank him but he lost in the battle of perception that no matter how liberal and open he is by facts but the perception that the cunning fox trying to taint his administration as anti democracy and freedom had succeeded over the truth and reality. In year 2013 , Najib succeeded his throne through a slim majority with the backing of the conservative and loses more than 80% of the liberal votes for being a liberal leader. It is time for Najib to recognized this political facts and thank the segment of Malaysian that given him the strength for another round ( conservative ). Historical political facts will be after Tun M changes his style ( from open to strict leadership) he actually gain more support from the liberal rather than the conservative that given their votes to PAS back then. 1 of the greatest pro democracy , liberalism and reformation leader in Malaysia in will be Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah. He end up loses his seat to a candidate from an extreme conservative party. Anwar ? He was only at his peak and super extremely powerful for being 1 of the most conservative and extreme leader ever in Malaysia political history that given him strength to be a Deputy Prime Minister in less than a year after he join UMNO . After 2004 ? He was trying to be open , liberal and a reformation leader that resulted to his defeat in year 2004 , 2008 and 2013 ( 3 rounds ) and his daughter almost lost the battle in Lembah Pantai . In politics WE MUST ALWAYS UNDERSTAND BETWEEN WHAT PEOPLE WANTS and WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IS ALWAYS ENTIRELY 2 DIFFERENT THINGS. Politics is not as simple as giving whatever people wants and needs and u will end up getting their votes. Sometimes they most u give they lesser votes u will end up getting in return. I dare to bet nobody ever in Malaysia political history have done as much as Najib by facts , stats, reality towards the Chinese and Indian community and yet he is having less than 7% of the Chinese votes and about 50% of the Indians votes . I also dare to bet Pakatan Rakyat had basically did almost nothing towards the Indian community after Mac 2008 and yet they still get 50% of the Indians votes. So what should be the next style for the next 5 years ? U have your answer by what I had written above ( facts , reality and historical facts ). Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting for a different result is call madness. U pick the wrong style then by GE 14 , 15 or 16 you surely be checkmated one day. Study the world history of great leaders and countries in the history. The Beginning of TRUE REFORMATION DEMOCRACY is after through a STRICT and FIRM leadership . Once you are STABILIZE and consolidate your power then only u have the power to open up and promote a true democracy and liberalism. But if u have chosen to open up before you consolidate your power then that will be the greatest nightmare . In political history those GOVERNMENT that being brought down by the REFORMATION movement most of the time is worst that then existing government. That is why the reformation movement to bring down Suharto for the last 15 years Indonesia is getting worst than before. As in Thailand Thaksin came back into power. Life is Iraq is worst after Saddam Hussein compare with when Saddam Hussein still in power in Iraq. In Thailand the people that had brought down Thaksin government had now given them back to be in power. Same like in Taiwan. In China , they brought down the Monachcy and now end up with a Communist. U think EGYPT today is living a better live compare to the previous leadership ( after Arab Spring ) ? Even Singapore Lee Hsen Long was trying to reform that end up with his PAP losing their influence day by day. Luckily he learn and now try to tighten his country social networking and internet media ( firm and strict leadership for the country stability ). United States the so called father of democracy had resulted in 911 for their openness and they came back with a Patriot Act. When GREECE won in EURO CUP is when their formation is extremely tight and close up ( u call it boring , conservative or traditional ). The next round they try to open up and that the end of GREECE.
