We need an all-of-the-above approach to America’s energy security, and right now solar power is proving an increasingly vital component to our needs. At today’s White House summit on solar energy, NREL (based in Golden) committed to lending its staff and expertise to help the Administration meet its goal of installing 100 megawatts of renewable energy sources on-site at federally subsidized housing by 2020.
