We need knife control now. Too many people have unfettered access to purchase knives, and they dont currently have to go through background checks. Anyone can go to a restaurant trade show, a cookware store or even to private sellers on places like Craigslist and purchase knives with no way to track them. We need strict knife control, people wanting to sell knives privately should be required to do a background check on the buyer, and anyone wanting to purchase a knife from a store needs to submit to a Federal and State background check with a mandatory waiting period. Furthermore, no one will be allowed to have a knife that is longer than 1.5 inches for any purpose whatsoever. A 1.5 inch blade is just the right size for anything anyone would ever need to do, so we need to ban any knives with a blade length greater than 1.5 inches. Stop this wanton, reckless dissemination of knives in our culture now. Call for mandatory background checks, size limits on knives and for mandatory checks for private sales as well. Keep us all safe.
