We need much, much tougher punishments for animal abusers - they get away with torture, with murder. They do not deserve to live free in society. One day last week within only 5 minutes of each other - there were two posts - in one a dog had been deliberately blinded - his bloody little face screams for justice, in another post some kind of horrible evil monster had sawed off two legs of a little dog who had somehow survived the horrific trauma. We need much tougher laws and judges who give a damn about what is inhumane, what should never be tolerated in a civilized society. When I was young - before I knew the full extent of horror and evil some people could inflict I was so outspoken against capital punishment - but no longer. A power much, much higher than me can forgive - but not me.
