We need to be a bit more introspective in respect to this issue. Who wants to attack the US and why? What would Muslims accomplish from attacking the US? An all out war by the US and allies on the Arab/Muslim world that would take another 5 million innocent lives? It doesnt make sense. If there are people who want to attack the US, I think we need to assume that they would be attacking the US for the same reasons they attacked France and Belgium, looking for the same affect. They would be punishing the US for it criticisms of Israels policies and its unwillingness to continue unconditional support for Israel. In other words, Price Tag attacks. The likelihood of such attacks increases as the US continues to buck Netanyahu, by pursuing a nuclear deal with Iran and even normalizing relations with Cuba. How does that benefit Israel? The same way 9/11 did, the same way its attacks on Egypts military did, and the same way the Hebdo attacks did. People like to portray Muslims as hot heads driven by emotion to do irrational and very violent things. Thats hype and no proof of that exists, in fact its the other way around. It was the US who in response to 9/11, which left 2700 people dead, undertook a war on terror in revenge that killed millions and destroyed several countries. It has been Israel that has used terrorism to advance it policy against Muslims and Islam and to impose its will on the world.
