We need to do broad-based political education of ordinary people, and challenge their many times backward beliefs with the facts and contrary opinions, and provide another path of obtain many of their demands than to sellout to the government. I think Socialists and Black radicals undermine their legitimacy in the eyes of the people by not organizing in the inner cities, workplaces, and street corners, instead of the Ivory Towers and other elite spaces.
