We need to get the word out about the birth control implant called Essure. Women as young early 20s are needing to have hysterectomies. There has been recorded death from complication of the implants puncturing through tubes, causing infections and perforation into other organs. Many womens lives have been ruined due to constant pain and bleeding. Doctors have lied to us, either by spreading false information about this, or not bothering to find out the real information. Thousands of women were told there were no side effects, and that it was a simple procedure that would last forever. All are not true. There are many side effects and it doesnt last forever. The implants have been shown to actually break down in the body. Records show that the manufacturer doesnt even know exactly what happens after the 24th month, let alone the 36th. FDA has approved it very quickly and its being protected by a law that prohibits legal action.FDA actually gave it a Class III Device status. Life Saving Devices are the ones that get this class. How a birth control received it still baffles many. Please sign this petition for those of us who have suffered to get justice. We want the Premarket Approval & Preemptive laws changed!
