We need to make sure our 2014 Seniors apply for our Operation Unite Scholarship. Its not to early to think about College!!!!! Here are some infos about “I Am UNITE” Scholarship during the 2012-13 term: OU provided 19 senior high school students $1,500 to be used for post-secondary education expenses. This Scholarship was available to UNITE Club members, as well as students who have attended Camp UNITE (either as a counselor or camper), and who reside in UNITE’s service region. Recipients of the inaugural scholarship by high school were: Breathit County High – Sandra Back & Jeannie McGuinn Corbin High – Marcus Kuhl Harlan County High – Cara Middleton Knott County Central High – Brian Catron, Kennedy King & Avery B. Shrum Leslie County High – Jalon Morgan McCreary Central High – Brittany King & Eleshia Sumner Phelps High – Andrea & Audrea Smith Rockcastle County High – Hannah Eaton & Samantha Smoker Shelby Valley High – Allison Belcher Somerset High – Haley Coldiron South Laurel High – Stephen Sears Wayne County High – Denise Franks Wolfe County High – Darian Burks Congrats and Good Luck in College !!!!!
