We need to peel back the layers of taxes that we are forced to pay in order to feed the redistribution machine in D.C. and in Hartford. Enough is enough. A flat tax, in an amount necessary to fund the functions of the Federal Government as granted by the constitution, is fair and equitable to all citizens. Simple and fair. Now thats a novel idea. Not really, but the voters have to send candidates to D.C. who will stop mugging the taxpayer.
