We need to practice active citizenship and keep our leaders well aware of what it is that we desire (the future we want and deserve). It has been the practice for too long, that once election is over, leaders go off to their chambers and offices, and people forget they have to keep their representatives constantly accountable. We need to break the disconnect and make our leaders fully understand that We The People know better than they usually think. At this current age, there is no excuse for not being heard and understood. When this is the case, then we can truly ask and insist, are our leaders representing our interests?..... 1 min · Like
