We need to pray that instead of sending military aid to Pakistan in order to combat violence with violence, we could have a spiritual revival in our nation that would allow us to share the love Jesus Christ with millions of Pakistanis and have them to accept our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Only Jesus and His teachings could not only save us from ourselves but also save us for eternal life with Him. This is a well-known fact: “As of 2013, the U.S. had paid Pakistan $11 billion out of the Pentagon’s coalition support fund budget as reimbursement for the South Asian nation’s military efforts aiding U.S. counterterrorism operations. Including other military and economic aid, the U.S. has given Pakistan about $28 billion during the 12 years through 2014, according to the Congressional Research Service.” We need to pray so we could have enough freedom to teach the all kids in school and out of school, who are tomorrow’s military soldiers and generals in the US military, to know more about Jesus and His teachings so later on, instead of teaching military personnel how to shoot in Pakistan, the general population in Pakistan could be taught about the love of Christ and accept Him as their personal savior. In 1945 the United States of America had a population and an army that was much more respectful of the power of the Bible and the power of Jesus teachings. General McArthur orchestrated an invasion of Bibles and missionaries teaching the love of Christ everywhere in Japan including to all “pockets of resistance” during the US occupation. Japan was not converted to Christianity (Jesus only accepts those who obey Him by using their free will), but terrorism was eradicated in that nation.
