We need to promote marriage alot more!! As a young couple Wayne Newby and i have heard all of the comments, saying that we are too young and need to enjoy life and etc... Thats what i think is wrong with this world now days, its okay for people to have kids, live together without being married and do all that but as soon as you tie the knot (young) you get criticized! 72% of black kids are born to unwed mothers and 67% turn into single moms, thats a high number.. We need to work on that!!! It is hard being young and married with kids, now imagine young and single with kids. Hubby and i have grown and learned soo much through our marriage. Hubbys has turned into a family man and our kids and I are his number 1 priority. We take our relationship serious and we gained more appreciation for our family members, i doubt we would be where we are if it wasnt for us being married. If it wasnt for the marriage we could have given up when things were tough... And we would probably still be immature in our ways. Not saying that unmarried couples cant be happy.. & in some cases some women are better off being not married to the babys father but if we would install these morals into our kids then maybe these numbers could go down and many kids wouldnt have to deal with growing up without a dad and all that comes with that.
