We need to remember that the CIA and the US government in general has the ability to decide whether or not a great deal of information ever becomes public knowledge. We also know from the last time we went to war there that they can release deliberate misinformation for the specific purpose of swaying public opinion. So how much of the news we are seeing about ISIS is the product of information and possibly fabrications specifically released for the purpose of building public support for US intervention?
