We need to show Cornell University that people all over the world are watching, and that we will not tolerate this kind of barbarism from anyone — especially not an Ivy League institution with a world-renowned veterinary college. The Cornell vet college has done really great work to help our local no-kill shelter for dogs and cats to become one of the finest in the US. That same ethic needs to be applied within Cornells Department of Natural Resources, which is currently engaged in a shameful war on our communitys wildlife. Stealing the lives of terrified animals in the shadows with a trap and a bolt gun, all while publicly claiming to practice “transparency, is beneath Cornell.
