We need to stop subsidizing corporate profits! Any debate over company wages inevitably comes down to defenders saying that if a company paid their employees more then they would have to raise prices which would kill business. It seems straightforward, but it isnt quite that simple. In fact, according to a new analysis conducted by American Public Medias Marketplace, a notoriously bad employer like Walmart would barely have to adjust their prices at all if they ensured that every one of their employees made enough to no longer need food stamps.
