We need you to come quickly. Your husband is having some sort of medical event. Paramedics are on the way. The phone call you dread but never really expect, right? Disbelief, fear, panic, sadness, confusion, worry: all flooded in in the moments and days to follow. My 33-year-old husband had a massive heart attack? How does that happen? What if he dies? What will our life be like if he lives? And, (I hate to admit this one...) how will we afford this? But, as quickly as I could formulate questions, God provided the answers: answers of His goodness, His sovereignty, His perfect plan and His provision. These answers came through prayer and His Word, yes, but also through your visits, your encouraging words, your prayers, and your super-generous gifts and donations. We are overwhelmed and completely humbled by everyone who has loved and supported us through this life-storm. Regardless of how you gave, you gave of yourself to help us in a time of need, and we cant thank you enough for your sacrifice. With Thanksgiving fast approaching, well all be taking time to count our blessings. I cant begin to list all that we have to be thankful for this year, but please know that we will be forever grateful for your encouragement, your compassion, and your generous support. If youve been following our story, you know that God has straight up worked a miracle in Sammys life. Already, we have seen a positive spiritual impact in many lives around us. And, its our prayer that God will continue to use our story to reach people that are in need of our Saviors love and peace. Has this modern-day miracle had an impact on you?
