We need your help to take advantage of an opportunity to help spread the word about the Framingham History Center through the new Boston Globe GRANT program! You may have seen this announced in the paper. We did and investigated…. GRANT stands for Globe Readers and Non-profits Together. It allows subscribers (paper and on-line) to support their favorite non-profit by helping them earn free advertising space in the Boston Globe. If you do subscribe to the Globe, you will be receiving a silver envelope within the next few weeks in the mail. Please open it and inside you will see a check/voucher where we ask you to write “Framingham History Center, P.O. Box 2032, Framingham, MA 01703” and send it back to the Globe by March 1st. The FHC does not have the funding to buy advertising space so this could be a great way to help us advertise revenue generating events like our House Tour, Art of Dennison exhibition, and a possible Dennison reunion in November.
