We no longer embrace complexity. Facebook postings must be simple. We are told the nation is split. A simple Yes No polarisation. Its not true. The vote contains many shades of thought some of which are shared. |Lets stop fussing over who was Yes and who was No. Many many No voters would love to see the scrapping of Trident, the reigning in of corporate power and influence, the reduction of neo liberal American aggression and our connection with it, and the addressing of climate issues, for example. We yessers may believe that the noers have chosen the wrong road to affect these issues...well tough luck. Whether or no the vote was rigged or honest, it will stand. We face the same challenges today as we did a couple of days ago and stuff whether or not we get Devo Max or whatever hideous cocktail they come up with in the next whenever. We must turn our own Eye of Sauron on the major issues that face us and somehow collectively deal with it. Personally, Im going to sit down and have a review of where I think I fit into the process of change and see if there is anything I will do to effect it. Personally, I feel betrayed by the people who are supposed to be caring for us and working on our behalf against the malevolent forces that surround us. We are pretty much on our own. Anyone who has dealt with the banks, the law, the government, the corporations, the media will know that there is very very often the feeling that we are somehow low caste and insignificant. Well were not. There are lots of us. Without us, they are dead in water. Think about that. Time for reflection, not grumbling or for swallowing the (mostly) unenlightening drivel in the media.
