We now have our new patient portal all set up. This was necessary for us to meet the requirement that Family Docs who treat Medicare patients (Federal $$s) must offer secure electronic access to some of their healthcare data. Check with Deb at your next visit. The portal will allow you to check on your next appointment, receive results, exchange messages with staff and much more. We must documetn that at least 50 % of our Medicare patients have signed up between now and the end of December so PLEASE make sure we have yoru correct e-mail address. Mark can help you register and once you have established the communication portal we will initiate the process. You just need to send a return e-mail to close the loop. Be patient and work with us as we both learn to use this new tool. JWZ
