We often rely on the good actions of others to make ourselves feel good about being Muslims. Ask yourself, when was the last time you did something that contributed something positive to the Ummah? A machine cannot work to its maximum capability if there are faults with any of its parts, in the same way the Ummah will never reach its potential if Muslims continuously fail to live up to their responsibilities. Every single one of us can contribute something positive to the Ummah. It could be something very simple; find out what it is and make it happen.
