We often speak of life as, short. While that may be true, often - TopicsExpress

We often speak of life as, short. While that may be true, often its end is abrupt, unexpected, and leaves us with the desire for just one more kiss. One more hug. One more I love you. And often, asking why. Chuck was my sisters Knight in Shining Armor. He was patient and kind. Even though I saw him very little, I will always remember the smile on his face and his positive attitude. Chuck was a hard worker and provided for his family as well as my mother after my father passed away. I havent asked, but I hope my sister remembers their last kiss. The last time they held hands and the last time she said, I love you. Chuck died doing what he loved to do...ride. He was on the way to the golf course, probably excited to see his buddies and excited about playing his favorite sport. Im glad they had discussed their wishes in case anything like this ever happened. Even then, he chose to help so many other people by choosing to be an organ donor. I hope someday Melanie will be able to meet the person that received his heart. I hope she will be able to place her hand on his heart, close her eyes and feel the beat of Chucks heart that lives on. She loved him so much and he meant the world to her. Chuck is missed by so many people that knew and loved him. He was a good husband, a good father and friend. I wish I had seen more of him. I know Heaven exists. And I know that Chuck has been reunited with other family members and friends that have passed. Im sure he was greeted and welcomed by God and my father. May they enjoy Heaven and eternal life together. Have a blessed day and know that you are loved.
