We on the Left fix this by recognizing what it is: the fruit of effective, successful, modern NeoCon Think Tank-generated propaganda. This is not the result of your grandfathers propaganda, but Propaganda 3.0, if you will - a whole new science that has perfected the best of propaganda advances made by the Nazis (the NeoCons of that time) and added to that potent discoveries made by the privatized Psy-Ops div. of what was formerly our national military - back before the tiny band of not-quite-fully humans that Eisenhower and Truman warned us about quietly morphed the Defense Department into its current iteration as the Perpetual-War-for-Perpetual-Profits Department. Know thy enemy, one of the first tenets of warfare - be it military warfare or class warfare - holds true today, and in this we have failed epically: We have collectively ignored the advances made in 2 key sciences: psychopathy and propaganda. The NeoCons, on the other hand, field-tested old and new propaganda techniques, via their US School of the Americas (now re-branded as WHINEC), in South America and elsewhere, honing their pernicious crafts while causing one democratically-elected government after another to be overthrown, thus insuring that their corporate interests continued uninterrupted. We turned our heads as millions of innocents were slaughtered in the NeoCons experimental laboratories, such as Honduras, El Salvador and in 1953 Iran, among many others. We on the Left make the mistake every day of assuming that psychopaths cannot occupy powerful positions and cannot be as clever as they are evil. Once we have grasped more precisely who it is we are dealing with, THEN we can finally begin to push back effectively. Take the example given here: spend an afternoon reading, for example, Robert Hares work - it is Hare who has done most of the hard science in psychopathy - and not only will such abominations cease to baffle and exasperate you, you will actually be able to predict both the NeoCons next strategic AND tactical moves, as well as how their Sheep Army will react to each new twist in the NeoCons Propaganda Network brainwashing campaign. You know the NeoCons are winning - here and around the globe. You know we are losing. THIS is why. We need to look for answers where we have not looked before because, clearly, doing what weve been doing over and over and over isnt working.
