We only have 3 more weeks of methadone weening. Its hard to believe its almost over. This bebe has shown me time and time again what it means to be a true fighter. When our friend came over last night, he asked if the baby was always this quiet. He couldnt believe what a good baby he was. He is SUCH a good baby. Yes, I do have to hold him more than an average baby. But I do not mind one bit. He is so happy and content sitting on my lap. He still has rough days, but each one that passes he just amazes me more and more. He still wakes up a few times through the night from withdrawals, and he needs to be swaddled. I dont mind my dark circles and puffy eyes anymore. Its not about me. Whatever it takes no matter what. We are in this for the long haul.
