We ourselves impose number on reality, which actually in and of itself has no number--anymore than that it has categories, or names, or words--all those are conceptualizations of the sowly evolving human mind at some distant period in history--which is itself also a conceptualization, for even time and space do not have an independant existence, apart from human (or sone similarly modified, contracted, intelligent) form of consciousness. Conscious as such has neither form, category, number nor quantity. We say time flies, but sometimes seems to crawl....it all depends on how we experience it in our circumstantially modified consciousness. One can say the same about space: when is a space experienced as small, and when does it appear to be small? Again--it is a function of consciousness. Ask Daedalus and Ikarus about time and space ;)
