We owned a marina when I was growing up and my father kept losing his tools in the water so he took this huge magnet and tied it to a rope and and would drop it in the water where he lost his tools and bring them all back up! I followed my dad everywhere he went - I was the first born and picked up many things along the way that have helped me throughout my life. One thing - he taught me how to check the car oil and he made sure I could change a flat tire before I could drive!! He also knew how to tinker with things and make them work so I try to do that too! He always told me that the first born was a trail blazer - if he could see me now I think he would say that is what I am!
