We picked Feather up at Rood and Riddle and the attendant that brought her out told us what a nice horse she is and most of all, how much he had enjoyed tending to her. He complimented her good manners and sane attitude. He said that they get so many high strung thoroughbreds and saddlebreds, that he really enjoys the others and that his favorites were the Appaloosas and the drafts! Maybe her new job (if we can keep her comfortable) is as an ambassador for the breed! Right now she is walking very comfortably on her wedge shoe.
