We picture death as coming to destroy; let us rather picture Christ as coming to save. We think of death as ending; let us rather think of life as beginning and that more abundantly. We think of losing; let us think of gaining. We think of parting, let us think of meeting. We think of going away; let us think of arriving. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Woke up this morning with Psalm 23 on my mind and just thought I would share it. How refreshing it is to know that death will never touch me because it is but a shadow to them that are saved! I dont have to fear anyone or anything because my Saviour is right there with me every step of my life! I dont have to worry because He is going to take care of me no matter what comes our way! And one day, I will dwell with Him forever and ever!
