We pray God use me but many of us are so self-absorbed that we dont notice the many people around us that are going through stuff - a smile, a kind word, a word of encouragement, a listening ear, food, money, a hug, love, acceptance could make a huge difference in someones life. Look around you and be Gods vessel of love to a hurting world. We have big ideas of how The Lord will use you and do not understand that God is as much interested in the ordinary and seemingly small things in life as He is in the big things. Actually, if you are not faithful in the little / small things how can He entrust the big things to you? I like to think weve gotten the order all wrong (based on John 3:16 and on Jesus ministry while on this earth), the big things in Gods mind is anything that affects people negatively......God cares about everything concerning our lives - nothing is too small or too big for Him.
