We presented every school child at New Life with a big shopping bag full of surprises. They were so excited! It was almost like Christmas. In Haiti, there is no public school system and it is a privilege to be able to attend. They received a book bag, lunch box, personal toiletries, new undergarments, socks, hair accessories, books and uniforms. To see the joy and anticipation on their faces was worth all of the hard work.
