We proudly sponsored a prize at the recent Eco-Logic Awards, hosted by Enviropaedia and held at Maropeng on September 17th. The event aimed to recognise and reward individuals, communities and municipalities who have made a significant contribution toward creating an eco-logically sustainable society and environment. Wilderness Safaris Sustainability Manager, Brett Wallington, and Manager of Special Services, Adriana Siegers, were there to tell attendees about the company’s advances in responsible ecotourism, as well as the Wilderness Safaris Residents’ Programme. Guests were invited to dress up as their ‘Alter-Eco-Ego’, and go “glamorously green” and the Best Dressed Eco-Couple won a two-night stay at Rocktail Beach Camp, sponsored by Wilderness Safaris. The winning couple was Anthony and Sandra Stroebel of the Bay Harbour Market Hout Bay! Whats more, today is International Coastal cleanup Day and how better to celebrate than with drinks on the beach at Rocktail!
