We put too much emphasis on dating. We feel a lot of pressure to find a significant other, and the pressure increases the older we get—as if the clock is ticking, the window of opportunity is closing, and we have to make the most of the time. I believe we can move at our own pace. We can take our time and not jump into relationships. We can resist the pressure to get married by a certain age or to think of dating as a race to the altar. We give ourselves so many rules about how to date and when to date; but love cannot be forced. Lets not be in a hurry to love before were ready. - Wesley, devo writer.
