We rarely give much thought to what actually happens when a person - TopicsExpress

We rarely give much thought to what actually happens when a person becomes a Christian. Even thou you may not have said these actual words, this is the process. #1 Ask GOD to forgive you of your sin. #2 Ask Jesus to come into your heart. We are asking JESUS to become LORD of our life. JESUS came to take away the sin of the world. My sin, not in part but the whole. Now, The old nature that was in you died. JESUS came into your heart. JESUS is now your new nature. Your old nature will try to take control and it is up to you to say no to that old nature. From that time you will either feed the old nature or the new nature. Sadly, many Christians still give a lot of freedom to that old nature. Many Christians never grow out of that very first experience. Up and down, up and down, up and down. In and out, in and out, in and out. I want to tell you that you do NOT have to live that way. Be assured that when JESUS CHRIST comes into the newly repented believer, JESUS becomes the living principle in you. If we will allow HIM to fulfill HIS Priestly office in our inner being and obey HIS direction instead of our old nature, we will be the light of the world. I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. The only JESUS the world will see is through you and me. I have NO rights to be my old self. My old self died Feb. 26, 1969 at an Old Fashion Altar of prayer at Main Street Freewill Baptist Church, behind Don Keys Motel in Coal Grove, Ohio when Brother Jack Pemberton laid down his Sunday School Quarterly and picked up his Bible and began plowing the old Gospel plow. I saw my sin, went to the altar along with my Brother-in-law Nick Nichols and repented. You may ask why I repeat that date, and place all the time. Well, it is the best thing that ever happened to me. The best thing I can do for you is to tell you about the Best Thing that ever happened to me. The second best thing that has ever happened to me is when Vicki Lynn Green became Vicki Lynn Stewart at an old fashion Altar of prayer at the Trinity United Methodist Church 240 South New York Ave. in Wellston, Ohio on August 3, 1975. Tell Someone About JESUS Today.
