We rarely, if ever, have confrontations with cops like this. On the rare occasion where I have been at odds with law enforcement on a scene, it was with an LSP Trooper who was more interested in clearing traffic lanes than the safety of rescuers. Had a vehicle traveling 50mph miss a partner close enough to brush his trousers on one such instance, when the Trooper opened a traffic lane while we were still working. Had words with the Trooper, and I won, backed up by my boss and the Troopers. Made an enemy of the Trooper, though. In other news, Chula Vista Fire is still doing standing takedowns on people?
