We really appreciate all the love and prayers! The surgeon said it was difficult to get into his abdomen, like he suspected it would be, but the surgery went well. Parker is resting now. Theyre going to leave him on the ventilator overnight so that they can give him the meds necessary to manage his pain without worrying about it affecting his breathing. Hopefully they can extubate him tomorrow and he can move out of the icu soon after that. They are expecting him to be here 5 days to recover. We want to once again give God all the praise and glory for bringing Parker safely through yet another surgery. We are so thankful that when we have to hand our baby boy over to a nurse/anesthesiologist/surgeon and entrust them with his life, that ultimately we know he is in the hands of the Great Physician. And were so thankful for all of our prayer warriors out there that continue to lift Parker and our family up. I know I say it all the time, but its the truth. ...We. Are. So.
