We received a free youview tv box from talktalk yesterday with supposedly no obligation. We never requested a tv service and I phnd them this morning to ask why we got this. She said its free to existing talk talk customers, but wait for it, if we connect it up we will then be charged and upgraded to the youview tv service. I said so should I send it back? To which she said no you can keep it for yourself in case you change your mind, or give it to a talk talk tv customer. Eh!!! So we cant use it and I dont know anyone with youview tv. How bloody thick do they think we are? Its going back in the post paid bag to the post office. Marketing con.
