We received a wonderful letter from Paul yesterday and are just now getting an opportunity to post it. We thank you all for your prayers in his behalf and for the letters you send to him. He is loving his mission so much! Here is his latest letter: Hola hola hola! This week has been wilder and crazier than any other week in my mission hands down, and that’s saying a lot considering Ive been through a ton in my mission!!! So first we had some awesome Christmas parties, one with the President at his house!! We made the long trip down into the inner-city of the D.F. in Linda Vista in Mexico City. We took a bus that took like 2 hours and it was crazy that we didnt die on the insane auto-pistas or freeways in Mexico! haha , so we got there and it started with talking and hanging out and then we played minute to win it games!! Haha and it was awesome, and after that we had some movies and watched the service compilation of the mission and all the zones! Then we watched some Despicable Me thing haha and it was the minions singing jingle bells! Haha then we had a traditional American Christmas dinner with turkey and soooo much amazing food!!! I was stoked! We got socks and candy and we got cards from the prophet for Christmas and we got hand written letters from the family of President Hall!! It was cool and the girl who wrote me served her mission in Zimbabwe!! Haha so after that we had interviews and a lot of missionaries were sent home! Our mission is cracking down on the missionaries because of so many problems! But it’s gotten a lot better!! And then we had a district dinner the next night and it was great! It was my comps 3rd Christmas here and he was sad he wasnt home! But when I found him crying I talked to him for a while and he was okay! We had an amazing dinner and we had some amazing Mexican lasagna with hot chocolate and horchata!! Then we gave all our presents to each other and I got soooooo much candy! haha and then I got a ton of ties and socks and candy! Hahaha then we went home in the pouring rain!! This is the first week or time it’s rained around Navidad here in like 11 years! It was cool!!! I miss the rain, and I loved the warm rain! I miss Cali! hahaha But we went to bed listening to Christmas music, and waking up in the morning was sooo weird! It was different knowing there were no presents and no family! But we went in a taxi to the Stake Center and the roads were empty! We were like the ONLY ones on the road in an area of like 3 million people! Bien raro! But we went and had an amazing breakfast we cooked with eggs, and bacon and pancakes and french toast!! With Mexican hot chocolate and sooo many games and we played pool all day! WE watched movies and played soccer and volleyball outside!! We were with 2 zones in Coacalco and we had like 30 missionaries and soooo many presents afterwards! Then we left, and went to eat at a member’s and then we Skyped home!! I was so happy to Skype my family!! I haven’t seen them in soo long! I love you guys! I bore my testimony in Spanish and cried, and Ive been pushing harder ever since I saw them! So on Friday the day after Navidad, my comp got a call he was done with his mission and had a ticket home the next morning! He was sooo happy! But my trainer of only 4 weeks is gone now! I loved Elder Sosa, but we helped him pack and all night we talked and then I had to leave him and go to the Zone Leader’s house in Guadalupe Victoria!! So now I’m with Elder Barber and Elder Plata! They are my Foster Parents for a week and a half until my new comp on 5 de Enero [January 5th]! So weve been working soooo hard and it’s nice because they know English!!! I can speak in English and it’s nice to speak both cause it teaches me faster right now!! We taught 15 lessons on Saturday!! And on Sunday we went to the church and I still got to see my investigators in my ward, San Cristobal because they were at the chapel around the same time!! So, then the bishop before we started said, Elder Bradshaw, I know you’re new and here for only a week, but can you give a talk? I was like crap... aight hahah! But I wasnt nervous and I got up and was able to flow my words surprisingly, and I gave a 10 minute talk off nothing! Just the way I did it back home if any of you remember that! haha I never wrote anything and I just talked and everyone complimented me! Haha and it happened again! I thank the savior for my words and the holy spirit for guidance with that and with everything I do every single day!!!! Today, on our P-day, we gave service and I laid concrete for 5 hours of back breaking work!! I wanna pass out and everyone else is hurting pretty bad!! But it’s been a great day!! :)) I love you all and have amazing weeks!! I will give more pics this week!! I love you!! -Elder Bradshaw
