We received an update from Busters forever family! My fiancé - TopicsExpress

We received an update from Busters forever family! My fiancé and I adopted a 2 year old beagle named Buster (A164743) from the Ottawa Humane Society on February 16th 2014. Sadly, at the time of the adoption, we did not know much about his past as the previous owner did not disclose any information, not even his birthday so we were not sure what to expect or how well he will adapt in his new home. We already had a 5 year old beagle who is very calm and well behaved so we were a little overwhelmed at first when we saw how much energy Buster had. Seven months later, I can say that, though there is still room for improvement in terms of training, Buster has definitely made a lot of progress. He has learned how to sit, shake hands, lie down and he is more well-behaved and calm now (beagle quirks aside). He looks very happy, and loves to play and snuggle with his older beagle brother. He has also met his extended families, humans and dogs, back in Montreal, and loves being spoiled by them. I wanted to send an update to show everyone at the OHS what a difference they make in these animals’ lives every day. Because of you, we were able to rescue and welcome this sweet, loving dog into our home. He brings us and our other dog so much happiness and we could not even imagine our lives without him. And for this, we will always be very grateful. Thank you again for caring for these animals, and keep up the good work. Thanks for keeping in touch and say hi to Buster for us!
