We received this beautiful thank you note today from a grateful teen. Our blankets go to children ages 0-18 and they ALL love the hug of a blanket when theyre going through a rough time. Thank you to each of you for making and donating teen blankets. You can see from this note that they are very much needed and appreciated. I have been wanting to write you for a very long to thank you so much for what you do. I received one of your blankets last year at Christmas. I was inpatient at a center that specializes in eating disorders. It was incredibly giving, kind, and thoughtful of you to drop off blankets for all of the patients as a Christmas gift. We are often overlooked because eating disorders have so much stigma around them, and because they are thought of as mental disorders. Eating disorders are so isolating, and receiving the blanket reminded me that there are always people thinking of me. I have kept the blanket on my bed at home since receiving it, and I often curl up with it around me when I am lonely, remembering the thoughtful people who had me in their thoughts. I am currently back in the inpatient unit, and it is so comforting to have the blanket on my bed. Please know that I will forever be grateful for the thoughtful gift. THANK YOU!
