We received this email yesterday and we wanted to share with our FB friends: Subject: Amp-3 LLC Facebook page Message: Ive admired your YouTube videos on ham radio and other topics. I was also excited to see the video on the new bags for the FT-817 and FT-857. Prior to placing an order this morning, I found myself on the Amp-3 LLC Facebook page only to be discouraged by the entire Tea Party vibe that I found. While I generally dont mind conservative or liberal views, I do have a problem with companies representing themselves as entities, using social media to advance their own personal agenda from their corporate platform. It was somewhat disturbing to see your posts supporting Ted Cruz, about topics on America respecting the Bible, Obama this and Obama that, etc, etc. To be fair, I would have been equally unhappy to see the flip side of the same coin. So, as much as I would like to have tried out the 817 bag, I wont buy anything from your company for as long as you use it as a platform via social media for the advancement of your own personal political views - no matter what those are. Not all of us in the ham hobby share your personal views or wish to have more ubiquitous political discourse imposed on us. If you feel the same way, then please unfriend us. We strongly believe in our GOD and we dont trust our Government. Ted Cruz would be a strong candidate and would have our vote. Also Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Scott Walker and any true conservative.
