We received this from the United Way, the organizers of the event: Hi Anchorage Running Club, United Way of Anchorage hosts an annual walk to raise money for rent and utility assistance for our Anchorage neighbors. Our goal is to keep families housed and financially stable. In the spirit of our 5th Anniversary, United Way of Anchorage is adding a 5k to our annual event in hopes more participants will join us to run, walk and raise money.
