We received this update on Meeko: Thought I would give you an update on Meeko. He is doing fantastic! He has such a personality, makes us laugh all the time. He loves to love on us, and we love him. He greets us at the door anytime we have been away with a hug. Literally a hug. Wraps his paws around our shoulders and puts his head by our neck. He no longer uses his crate while we are away. He loves to play, especially with his tennis ball. He runs upstairs, drops the ball and watches it bounce down then runs down after it, only to do that over and over again. He is very respectful of Spice, our 14 year old husky-lab who isnt all that steady on her feet these days. Tries to get her to play but also seems to understand that when on the slippery wood floor Spice doesnt do so well. As you can see from the pics, Meeko loves car rides. Loves going to grandpa and grandmas because grandma spoils him and they have a 5 year old dog that he can play with. I cant thank you enough for pointing me in the direction of RPSM. They did an excellent job training him. When the time comes to adopt another, I will definitely go through them again! This is the 2nd part of this update that came shortly after receiving the first: Meeko is settling in so well at his new home. Donna and the kids love him. Donna told his foster mom recently that they have never had such a well behaved dog. The family’s other dog wasnt feeling so good (she is 14) and Meeko laid with her all morning…such a sweetie.
