We recently commenced a new Monitoring & Evaluation program with Alliance for Children Everywhere in one of the poorest and most populated compounds in Zambia. Through this partnership, the children at ACEs school will receive one hot Stop Hunger Now meal every day (for most, this is the only food they receive all day). With this initiative, social workers at the school will be collecting height and weight, as well as monitoring grades and attendance. Once we begin accumulating data, with the help of the our dedicated NC State University M&E interns, we will begin analyzing the effects of the meals & nutrients on the childrens health -- both physical and mental.
