We recieved a phone call from someone claiming to be from Windows corporation, saying we had issues with our software and wanted access to our computer to repair the problem. We left them with some choice words and hung up. We star 69nd the number (253-802-0309) and turned it into TELUS. I cant believe nobody has tried this. I tried to call this number but it is an international carrier out of reach of TELUS. They now have the phone number and therefor something to work with. Just hanging up does nothing to stop these a******es. Some people (quite often elderly) fall prey to these scams.
