We remember the days in Chesterfield SC when the shelter was under the control of the Sheriff Department... Almost all of the budget allocated towards salaries and little to nothing for the animals, When the shelter didnt even have walls or heat so that the animals would freeze all winter long, When the animals were being gassed in a gas chamber that wouldnt even pass inspection and when we forced them to remove that they started to euthanize with a bullet to the head.. PLEASE SAY NO to the Sheriff taking back control of the shelter and SAY YES to Jim Mcgonigal continuing to hold people for the first time accountable for animal cruelty and neglect. Please politely call the county council 843-623-2585 and voice your concerns or attend Wednesday meeting
