We respectfully note the deaths of Joseph T. Burbank, Judith A. Richardson, and Jeffrey R. Webber. Their obituaries follow: Joseph T. Burbank, at 73 Joseph Theodore Burbank, 73, of Punta Gorda, Fla., died April 13 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Fla. He was born in Weymouth and grew up in Hull. For many years he also lived in Cohasset. Mr. Burbank graduated from Massachusetts College of Art with a BA and earned his masters degree from Lesley University. He was a beloved teacher of art for 32 years at Dover Sherborn High School and organized many memorable school trips to Italy, sharing his love of Italian art and history with his students. Mr. Burbank taught painting classes at the South Shore Art Center for many years and enjoyed sharing his marvelous culinary talents with a gourmet club. He was an accomplished painter and sculptor, having displayed his artwork at shows throughout the region. He was also an avid gardener. Mr. Burbank is survived by his loving family: a daughter, Leah Mara Burbank; two brothers, Robert Burbank and Peter Burbank, both of Maine; a sister, Heather Charles of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a dear friend, Gianluca Marchi of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and his former wife, Virginia [Lewis] Burbank of Kenya. Richardson, at 72 Judith A. [House] Richardson, 72, died Thursday, April 17, at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a brief illness. Born in Portland, Maine, she was a Hull resident for more than 65 years. Mrs. Richardson was a 1959 graduate of Hull High School and prior to her marriage worked as a telephone operator. She also worked at Jake’s Seafood in Hull for a couple of seasons and most recently at Marshalls in Hingham. She loved the beach, warm weather, and enjoyed gardening and travel. Mrs. Richardson was also very active with the South Shore Association for Retarded Citizens. The wife of the late David M. Richardson, Sr., she was the mother of David M. Richardson, Jr. and Steven M. Richardson, and his fiancée, Elise Woiszwillo, all of Hull. Mrs. Richardson was the sister of Donna Hynson-MacIver and her husband, Norman, of Weymouth, and the late Nancy L. Batte; the loving grandmother of Megan B. Richardson of Hull; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Downing Chapel on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Webber, at 67 Funeral services with military honors will be held Tuesday for Jeffrey R. “Buffy” Webber, 67, of Hull, who died peacefully Feb. 25 at his home. He was the loving husband of AnnaMarie [Lopez] Webber; cherished father of Suzanne M. Webber and Julianne Webber, both of Hull; loving grandfather of Tyianna R. Adams of Hull; dear brother of Christopher F. Webber of Quincy. He is also survived by brothers, Mark Hunt Webber and Timothy White Webber. A procession will form at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Hamel, Wickens & Troupe Funeral Home, 26 Adams St., Quincy Center, and depart promptly at 12:30 for the Massachusetts National Cemetery at Bourne, where his interment with military honors will take place at 2 p.m. ∞
