We returned from our TRBA Staff retreat to discover a precious saint, Dorothy Bell Carroll had gone home to be with her Lord. This afternoon we celebrated her life with family and friends. Mrs. Dorothy was a wonderful lady and tremendous example to us all as a Christ-follower and church member. The Psalmist declared, Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Every time I have used that verse in a service, I have added a line that somehow questioned that sentiment from a human perspective. Today, there is no doubt I have understood that verse! Reverends Bill Wallace and Bill Haley did a wonderful job of expressing the sentiments of everyone of us who knew here. I am grateful God allowed her to cross the path of my life. I am a better person for being a part of my life. Our prayers are with the family. Along with them, we praise God for her life and witness.
