We saw David Cook, late of American Idol, perform last night at Epcot. We didnt know the songs, but it was fun to see him. A couple of girls about three rows in front of us decided to stand up, thus blocking our view, and they stayed that way. After being patient for a bit, I yelled, Siddown! Surprisingly, they did. I do have a question. People record concerts on their phones because.... A. It is a better copy, or quality, than they can get of the same performer on You Tube? B. It is proof that you were breathing the same air as the performer? C. It is the modern way of flicking your Bic to honor the performer? D. All of the above? It was a sea of cellphones all the way to the stage. No one was looking directly at the band! Yeah, I know, I am out of touch. We had fun!
