We saw the Supremes, the Temptations and the Jackson Five tonight...live. No, we did not have a time machine; my wife and I saw Motown: the Musical. We truly enjoyed the show. Diana Ross (played wonderfully by Allison Semmes) was our favourite. She captured Ms Ross style and did a great singing job. The show had energy (the Contours number was excellent) and comedy as well (there were many funny moments, including a fine Ed Sullivan impersonation). There was only one down side to the evening. One of us thought that the show was at the Fox instead of the Fisher. We went all the way downtown and actually paid for parking, then parked in the Fox parking structure. As we began to walk into Hockeytown for a pre-show snack we realized our mistake.We still managed to get to the Fisher Theatre in plenty of time, so all was well. (Im taking the fifth as to which one of us made the mistake)
