We saw the cancer doctor today at the cancer clinic. Stephen was - TopicsExpress

We saw the cancer doctor today at the cancer clinic. Stephen was eating doughnuts when the doctor entered the exam room. The doctor commented how that Stephen is looking good. Stephens mind was as clear as crystal today. The cancer doctor, remember, has discontinued all chemotherapy for Stephen determining that he is hopelessly dying very soon. It was a day that I was able to talk very plainly to the doctor. I told our Jewish doctor The LORD Jesus Christ is going to completely heal him with you or without you, with chemo or without chemo. I also told him personally that we will NOT be going with Hospice because Hospice will not allow Stephen to have the blood transfusions he has had to have about every three weeks since June 2013 unless Stephens blood count is so gravely low and he is panting like a dog with shortness of breath. I told him that Hospice will not murder him nor will I. End of subject. The cancer doctor is heading for Jerusalem later today. He said he would pray for Stephen at the wailing wall. I told him that it is not necessary because we have direct access to God. The Jewish cancer doctor is still waiting for the Messiah to arrive but LORD Jesus has already come. We dont have to leave Jesus messages in cracks of the wailing wall. We are able to go boldly before the throne of God for grace in time of need because of Jesus. Problems with the nursing care at the nursing home continue. I realize that there are problems with any nursing home but that does not excuse problems. This one of today hurt me so badly and I went out to the car for privacy so that I could call Stephens nurse of today about it. Stephen had arrived at the cancer clinic hungry. Why was he hungry? He was eating his breakfast this morning (he eats slowly) when he accidentally knocked his bowl of oatmeal off into the floor. The nursing assistant came into the room and accused him of knocking it into the floor on purpose. She then took his breakfast tray completely away from him as punishment and he had not eaten much of his food yet but was enjoying every bite. We all know how very much Stephen loves to eat. (This makes me so angry even now and makes me feel like crying!) Stephen would never drop his bowl of oatmeal to the floor on purpose. Never. I might, however, if I was upset enough and having a flesh moment, but not my Prince. That man has been walked on most of his life especially by his own family (especially by his wicked stepmother who is banned from our home and from the nursing home) and he has never raised a hand or voice for revenge, etc., to take up for himself because he is so gentle in nature. So very humble and kind. I think he has been mistreated so many years until he thinks that is how he is supposed to be treated by people outside of our home. I am not going to allow it. I am simply not going to allow it! I called and told his nurse about the incident of this morning and I told her that I want something done about it. I also asked her to tell the assistant director of nursing about it and she assured me that she was going to do so. I will be at the nursing home later to see him this afternoon and will pursue this myself. It was by Gods direction that I had stopped at a gasoline station before going to the cancer clinic appointment and bought Stephen some doughnuts this morning. LORD Jesus knew what had happened and was going to make sure that His son did not go hungry. I also had to have the cancer doctor write that he wants Stephen given his pain med every four hours on a schedule with no option of holding it. Nurses have been holding his pain med when they see him with his eyes closed in his bed and calling it sedation (how absolutely ridiculous!) since the order has read that it can be held if he is sedated. (Keep in mind that these same nurses know that so very many of his bones in his entire body are cancer ridden, his skull with cancer lesions, and even the covering (dura) of his brain with five cancer tumors on it, yet they opt to not give him his pain medication.) When I arrived yesterday to visit in the early afternoon, the nurse he had yesterday had held ALL of his meds and told me she did it because he was asleep at medication time. There is a vast difference between being asleep and being sedated. I will be so happy when Jesus gets Stephen home again to me but what about other patients who are enduring issues that involve disinterest and neglect? What about the ones who have no interested family that visit regularly? It angers me and it breaks my heart. Let us never fail to pray for those who are dependent upon the care of other people. Time to soon head on to see my Prince again! Yay! Thank You, LORD Jesus!
